A Living Monument to Faith & Freedom
Established in 1889, ACK Emmanuel Church Kengeleni stands as one of Kenya's oldest Anglican churches, deeply rooted in the history of the abolition of slavery and the spread of Christianity along the East African coast.
Our church was built to serve freed slaves resettled in Frere Town, becoming a beacon of hope and transformation in Kenya's journey from slavery to freedom.
